Arabic Glossary

The Arabic Glossary of the Body of Knowledge on Infrastructure Regulation (BoKIR) glossary is a recent translation sponsored by the Electricity & Cogeneration Regulatory Authority (ECRA) of The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

It is through ECRA’s generous support that this work was made possible. We, the authors of this web site, are certain the translation of the BoKIR glossary into Arabic strengthens the value of the BoKIR as an international online resource. We expect it should prove useful for improving competencies of local decision-makers and policy analysts in Arabic-speaking infrastructure industries, in terms of operations management and regulation. Arabic-speaking practitioners, instructors in higher education, and those who manage organizational capacity-building should also find the Arabic translation valuable.

In addition, the BoKIR glossary has been translated into Chinese, French, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, and Thai. These dictionaries can be found on our Glossary page.

If your organization would like to sponsor a translation of the glossary, please contact PURC at purcadmin@warrington.ufl.edu.
