Wheeling

Transmission of electricity by a company that does not own or directly use the power it is transmitting. Wholesale wheeling is the term used when there are bulk transactions in the wholesale market. This word is often used as a synonym for transmission. Retail wheeling allows power producers direct access to retail customers.
